wod: Deadlift 8000 or 16000 pounds
The wod for today is simple. Using the deadlift you are going to lift a total of 8000 pounds or 16000 pounds. Example: If you were going to use a weight of 135lbs you would need to perform 60 deadlifts to get to your 8000lb goal and to reach 16000lbs you would need to lift 135lbs for 119 repetitions. So no matter what weight you use you need to complete enough reps to reach your goal.
The wod today will not be timed but the weight you use and your reps will be recorded. Take you time, use good form, and have fun!!!
When someone asks you what you did today just say “I lifted 8000 pounds” or “I lifted 16000 pounds”! Either way I would wager you will get a disbelieving stare…:-)
