WOD: Wednesday 16, February 2011

Skill: Squats – take 3-4 sets to warm up then do 3 sets of 5 keeping the weight the same for all 3 sets. If you haven’t tried the low-bar position yet, take the time to work on it. Also, keep track of your workouts! We are working on solutions to keep some notes at the gym but in the meantime you can take 5 minutes and $2 to keep track in a paper notebook* . The goal is to increase the weight you use each week, which is tough to do if you don’t remember what you lifted last time.

Wod: 10 minute total body workout
Complete each movement for as many reps or calories as possible in allotted time. There is a 1 minute rest/transition break between each movement (total wod time is 13:00 w/ rest times)
4:00 Rowing
3:00 Pull Ups
2:00 Back Squats (Body Weight for Males, .75 BW for females)
1:00 Push Press/Jerk (135/95)

*yes, paper notebooks are still cool; b/c they are cheap & b/c Billy says so. If you still have an operational “Trapper Keeper”, bring it in & I’ll give you the Zach Morris “Master of Cool” award

definition of cool

Jen brought an original Trapper Keeper to verify her cool status
