Fran is considered one of the benchmark workouts where you are able to compare yourself against the elite CrossFit athletes. When discussing your fitness in any group of CrossFitters invariably the question “so what is your Fran time” pops up. Well now you can tell them!
Here is a Fran video…
FRAN VIDEO!

Kyle…Ask and you shall receive!
GREAT workout, but happy i’m out of town and missing this one.
Don’t worry about it. We will have a make up day for you…!
Nick – I know you’re tricks… you’re just being kind by not coming so that we will feel better about our times. then, when you kill it later we can congratulate you and not feel so bad about ourselves as we might have if you crushed us in person and had time to do a cool down before cheering us on to our finish.
either way, keep those legs and lats fresh, I want you to post a stellar time the rest of the gym can only hope for!
ATTENTION: the bar has been set; Kyle came in on tired legs and PR’d on an already amazing Fran time. His new PR = 3:45.
this stuff works people!
Great Job Kyle!
Who’s NEXT?
Holey crap. I’ve seen challenges where guys have had to eat an entire case of white castles before doing Fran. Ugh, never lose a bet.
Outstanding Kyle!! I bow before the “Fran Master”!!!
Way to go, Kyle! I believe this is my first attempt at Fran….no white castles for me. I’ll be there at 7:30 after work.
Knock it out of the park Ellen!
Good job on getting 3:45! Scott did you do Fran yet or are you biding your time till tonight…:-)
Scott, that used to be my strategy, but Kyle has put me to shame. I’ve never seen a sub-4 Fran. Now my body and my ego is happy to be far away.
Great job Kyle and good luck everyone else! I am back tomorrow.
Nick if your around on Sat. Go to the 9am class and we can lay down some fight gone bad times.
Fran and I are no longer friends. When I can whoop her booty in under ten minutes, then maybe we’ll talk again. 11:07….yikes. I guess you have to start somewhere, right?
