WOD: Tuesday 8, March 2011

Our strength and skill work today will be the deadlift. Find a weight that you can comfortably lift and work on your form. Concentrate on the steps for the set up and all the things you do before the lift actually happens. All great lifters have a certain way they approach the bar for any type of lift and you can develop that for yourself also. Consistency is key when becoming a good lifter so think about the lift before you even get to the bar.

wod: Time Trial for the 2000m row

This wod will be going on the records board so make sure and set a good pace from the start and try and maintain it for the entire distance. Breathing will be key in this workout!

    I am missing the gym. Last week: lower back recovery. This week: family stomach flu. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better. Thought about trying to deadlift at home but realized that deadlfing and the stomach flu makes for a messy partnership. See ya tomorrow (hopefully)

    Is CF Indy North an official open affiliate?

  • Yes they are and the first one is going to be on March 19th. I am planning on competing in these events.
