I am looking forward to this wod!
I am looking forward to eating whatever the heck those are in the picture!!
On Saturday morning, I plan on watching people do the Fight Gone Bad – Paleo Challenge. Afterwards, I am heading up to Castleton at 11 or 11:30 to watch Billy and ‘Magnus ver’ Bob Stanton compete in a StrongMan Contest ! (http://www.nastrongman.com/pdf/2011/ccsm20112.pdf). They will be pulling Fire Trucks and all sorts of other stuff that strong people do (opening lids on jars). It’s going to be held at the Hooters Castleton parking lot. If you don’t have anything going on, feel free to join me for some wings and beverages while “no-repping” the competition.
I am in for this! Hooters has good wings!!!
Is it weird I licked my computer screen?
Paul and I plan on being there to watch them perform their random feats of strength.
Lainey, its only weird if you get caught.
Can I get some wings? Maybe the wings can be at then end of the fire truck pull.
Lainey,
Good one. I actually laughed out loud.
Lainey…was the screen licking because of wings or that your hubby is in this competition?
It was actually for the whoopie pies
I like saying whoopie pies.
OK, New Girl Colleen has no idea what the Fight Gone Bad is. Please explain.
you can all continue the fun on Saturday after the strong man competition… join us for Journey, Foreigner, and Night Ranger at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre! EPIC.
4.3. Explain Fight Gone Bad
In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. We’ve used this in 3 and 5 round versions. The stations are:
Wall-ball: 20 pound ball, 10 ft target. (Reps)
Sumo deadlift high-pull: 75 pounds (Reps)
Box Jump: 20″ box (Reps)
Push-press: 75 pounds (Reps)
Row: calories (Calories)
The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of “rotate,” the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.
I can’t find that whoopie pie recipe! You click on it and it’s just about the picture, no recipe, where is it, I want it, where…..
