Our skill work today is deadlifts and we will be doing Annie for our Thursday wod! Everyone should have a good idea of what to expect as far as their performance so you will have an idea of what to shoot for.
Skill: Deadlifts 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1 – make sure you warm up well and then perform 8 single reps with a weight you can use with excellent form. Remember, if you can’t go through the entire movement with your shoulders back (shoulder blades squeezed together) then the weight is too heavy and you need to reduce it. Letting your shoulders roll forward moves the bar away from your body and therefore causes you to round your back.
