Whenever one of the coaches talks about opening your hips during a lift this is what they are looking for. Notice that Ryan is just starting to bend his arms after the bar has passed his hips. Also notice that the bar is right next to his body. Excellent form!
If you could see his feet you would see that they are off the ground. This photo was taken during the Strength and Conditioning PR day for the snatch movement.
