I bet I could fly if I had a pony tail! That has GOT to be the secret!!!
Running a bit behind tonight…
OMG. Box wrecked my knee. Could not do tonight’s WOD. Jim; however, rocked the H. E. (double hockey sticks) out of the WOD. Strong to the finish. Way to go Jim!!! You killed Fran on steroids!!!
Oh yeah, and mister Tigger jumped on 6 x 45 lb plates… I think it was 6. Scott?
Great work last night on the box jumps and getting thru a tough wod. Kyle and Matt jumped on top of a box with 8 45lb plates! Elaine won best dismount by turning a potentially bad fall into a textbook tuck and roll. Lin won worst miss by nearly crushing his man parts. I (scott) won best injury that didn’t include a jump – by bruising my hand on the stack while preparing to jump.
Amanda – hope your knee is feelin better and you can find out what else might be wrong. Jim got 5 45′s and 1 25lb plate.
Im pretty disappointed that my long legs added no advantage to this skill for me whatsoever….
And I really regret my last attempt. Now I have multiple bruises and two beautiful golf ball lumps on my shins!! I guess 4 plates will have to do :’(
Kyle and Matt must be part feline, 8 plates is crazy!
Hey Chelsea, I’m with you. Long legs SUCK for box jump. We’d have to jump and pull them up to our ears to clear those heights… Damn dudes. =P
