WOD: Monday 10, January 2011

REMINDER! We are starting lunch time classes on Tuesday January 11th and Thursday January 13th to go along with our Monday and Wednesday classes. Check our calendar here for class times.

We are starting the week with some basic squat strength work and some work on deadlift form. The workout today will include squats and deadlifts with the heavy work being done on squats. With each person who comes to us for a baseline workout we explain the importance of squats and in CrossFit that never changes. So let’s work hard today on form and range of movement and develop some great squats!

wod: 3×5 Squats and Deadlifts
3×5 squat warm ups then 3×5 working set of squats. The 3×5 set of squats will be the same weight not progressing up with each set. So make sure your warm-up gets you to the working weight. You must have proper depth during your working sets.

3×5 deadlift sets. This weight will be light and will be used to work on form and set up.

Core work to finish off the night!
