So I am currently in Chicago and found Crossfit Rise less than 5 miles from my hotel. I am going to the 9 am WOD. Look at this WOD….yikes!!! What are stick jumps???

Annie – We missed you last night. Hope you had fun running the stairs at the hotel. Also, great work finding a local CF gym to visit on your trip. That WOD should be a good one. Stick Jumps are just that, you will jump over a stick that is normally resting on their box jump boxes. Both feet leave the ground at the same time, clear the stick, and land (safely) on the ground on the other side…fun right?

Not fast, but 45 minutes later I finished this burpee workout at home in the yard with handstands in the mulch against the front of my house . . got a lot of people driving by more than once : )
