WOD: Friday 6, May 2011

Today we are going to be teaching on the deadlift forms and how they apply to specific Olympic lifts. We will be using light weights and you will get the chance to learn how they apply to the various lifts.

skill: deadlifts

Standard deadlift and how this applies to the clean and jerk and as a stand alone deadlift

Wide grip deadlift and how this applies to the snatch lift

Sumo deadlift and how this applies to kb swings, sumo deadlift high pull (SDHP), and as a stand alone deadlift

wod: Snatch for 8 singles (1×8)
Each athlete will perform a single snatch movement and be given feedback from the coach and then the next athlete will complete the movement and this continues around the class until 8 rounds have been completed.
