What is an OnRamp class? In CrossFit we use many different types of equipment and movements. The OnRamp class is to familiarize you will the equipment and movements and allows us as trainers to also work on proper form.
The class is 4 weeks (total of eight 1 hour long classes) and must be attended by all athletes new to CrossFit and Olympic lifting. In these classes we will be teaching the basic foundational movements that you will see in CrossFit Carmel workouts.
These include the deadlift, clean, squat, press movements and also the proper form for the basic gymnastics and body weight movements such as pullups, air squats, and rings. Along with those skills you will also become familiar with how to become proficient in using a medicine ball, kettlebell, and Abmat for CrossFit workouts.
Our first priority is teaching each new student the proper mechanics to ensure your safety during workouts and the OnRamp class is what we do to help you achieve this!
