The BIG MOVE!

It is getting down to the wire as we get ready for the BIG MOVE to our new facility!  We are excited and hope you are too!  Here are a few details about how we are hoping this whole thing goes down:

-We should be getting the keys to the new place on the 1st of Feb.

-We will close at the old place after the 11:30am class Tuesday the 31st of Jan.  We will have a moving truck ready to get packed up, this is where we can use the first wave of help!

- We will be closed all day Wednesday so we can unpack the truck at the new place, we need help again for this wave!  We will have tons of work to get things in place, flooring down, pull-up rig assembled and white boards on the wall.

- We will open for classes on Thursday the 2nd in the new place.

If things change, we will let you know!  I am not sure what time on the 1st we will get the keys.  I will probably send out a bat signal of some kind on Face Book!

Today is the last day to complete your Paleo Challenge baseline.  You still have a chance to get in on the challenge by going online to our website, click the Paleo button under the banner and sending in your payment for the buy in and/or the Paleo guide.  You must complete the baseline today at 12n unless you have already made other arrangements with us.  See you at the gym!

12n Paleo Baseline WOD: 2 rounds for time

30 burpees on 45# plate

30 KB swings (50/35)

30 box jumps (24/20)

30 push press ( 65/45)

there are RX weights and heights for the baseline , however you can perform them any way you can get it done.  If you are new to CrossFit Carmel you can opt to do 1 round.  At the end of your Paleo Challenge, you will do the baseline again using the exact same weights and measurements!

We had our first baseline for the Paleo contest this weekend and it was a lot of fun. If you missed out on this baseline you can still get in by completing the second baseline on January 29th at 1:00pm. Check the website for details!

Clean 2 x 7 (2 reps x 7 sets, weights are the same for all 7 sets)
Squat 5 x 3 (5 reps x 3 sets, weights are the same for all 3 sets, +5 lbs. from last time)
