Hey all,
We’ve had several people ask recently about cleaning up their food choices as well as the differences between the Zone and Paleo food plans. This is good news for us as it means that more people are taking their nutrition seriously. Our hope is that everyone will take it seriously as it is just as important to your overall health and fitness as the brutal wods you push yourself through each week. Seriously.
There are many different views on nutrition but we want to keep it as simple as possible: Eat. Good. Food. The goal is a new way of eating and looking at food as a whole; a nutrition lifestyle that compliments the changes that CrossFit has already brought to your life.
There are always a ton of questions that arise when making major changes to your nutrition plan and some we are able to answer from our own experience. For many others we refer people to the folks at Whole9 Life who have made it their job to help people to eat better. As we have referred several people to their site to get info we wondered if it would be possible to have them come to the gym to present one of their nutrition workshops. It would be a full day of nutrition know-how, sometime in late February or March and would cost $100.
What do you think? If you would be interested in attending, please post to comments so we can determine if we should move forward with this. Check out more info and fun food 411 @ http://whole9life.com/
Also, since I know you are looking to cook several meals today so you have quality food ready to eat during the week, try out this recipe with your favorite fresh veggies: Veggie steam + saute recipe

I love the idea. I’d be there and would try to drag my wife with me.
Count me in! I would love for them to come to our box!
One of us would come to this….depends if it’s $100/pp or per family?
Confession: We slipped off the paleo wagon the other day (it was all Tim’s fault)!
Hey Scott – quick question with regards to the paleo. I started about a month ago and it’s a love/hate relationship. Every paleo book and article I read says, “no legumes,” but then has recipes that include green beans and peas (not as many w/ peas). The trainer here in Champaign says no legumes so no green beans or peas, but then again, experts in he matter suggest recipes that include green beans. So my question is, are green beans ok for the paleo diet???? Thanks for the info, Scott!
count me in can some adopt me LOL
I would be very interested in going to this. It would also be fun to do a Paleo Nutrition challenge. Good motivation for the Holidays.
Definitely interested!
I think Kyle & I would both love to go….is there a discount for couples?
