CrossFit Endurance is coming to CrossFit Carmel soon!

Here is a note from Chris about the CFE program that is starting up next week!

Spring is finally here and although your thermometer may try to tell you otherwise, it’s time to get outside and start building up that endurance again!

That’s right, round two of the Crossfit Carmel Endurance program will be kicking of next week and we have a lot of great things to look forward to! We have a handful of members participating in the June sprint triathlon at Eagle Creek, a potential Mudathalon team (talk to Billy and Lainey), and a long list of Mini-Marathon participants. Additionally, for those interested in additional conditioning or triathlon specific instruction, we have a great new relationship with Team GO Triathlon coach Lisa Picek.

Classes will be the same time as last year, Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 7:30 – 8:30 pm. You can expect lots of drills/form work, along with a variety of run workouts, and you can maybe even plan on a few field trips(if I can find any good hills or open tracks). I would also strongly encourage you to space out your workouts if you plan on doing CFC WOD and CFE WOD on the same day (ideally at least 4 hours apart), but if you are a glutton for punishment or your schedule just won’t allow this, feel free to do them back-to-back.

So, get up and start stretching those legs because next Tuesday, we will be doing the CFE equivalent of a baseline – always a crowd favorite – the 1 mile time trial! We will log these times and do the mile TT every 6-8 weeks so we can see how much progress we’ve made.

    Can I do these on my own ? Like around 6:30? 7:30 is way too late fort me

    I’m glad the CFE class is back! Last year if I remember right the CFE class was at 6:30pm which worked out great for me. Does it start at 6:30 or 7:30 this year? I’m with Rick, 7:30 is to late for me too.

    I just talked with the chief and got the OK to move CFE to 6:30. The people have spoken!

    Dang. Sweet. Thanks Chris. I’m signed up for the Indy mini and the Tri in June. Training the CFE way beats long mileage runs any day. Plus if a bunch of people do it together it makes it even better. And based on my results from last year, my regular CF WOD times got a lot faster too.
