Great job on the 5k time trial last week! Everyone did a fantastic job!
This week we will shorten things up a bit and spend some time focusing on good form.
Warm-up: Stretch/Drills, followed by an easy 800m run
WOD: Tabata Sprints (x1.5)
Tabata sprints are just like any other tabata work out. You will perform 20 seconds of “max effort” and recover for 10 seconds. Normally a tabata is only 8 rounds, but the sprints are also supposed to be done on hills, so we will compromise by doing 12 rounds on flat pavement. This is going to be a very quick workout so let’s make sure we take the time to warm-up before hand!
