CrossFit Carmel is providing you with a true fitness option. Our program consists of functional movements that you use every day of your life. You will not see any of the equipment associated with larger global (globo) gyms with the exception of Olympic weights.
If you haven’t see those or don’t know what they are try looking over in the corner of your gym if you attend one. They are usually kept out of the way. If you don’t use the movement in your daily life then you won’t see a piece of equipment to train it.
We don’t want to waste your time developing you body just to stand around and look at it. We want to see you become the fittest possible person you can be! To do that we use Olympic weights, gymnastic movements (pullups, pushups, rings, etc…), and endurance exercises such as running, rowing, and box jumps to create a fitness based program that will transform you both physically and mentally.
CrossFit is not a bodybuilding program nor do we seek to help you build the biggest and baddest chest and biceps, although we do seek to help you develop the fittest and athletic looking body you can have. We are concerned about your health and well being more that we are about how much muscle you can pack on in the shortest amount of time.
CrossFit Carmel promotes the total package of exercise combining varied types of movements each day combined with proper nutrition. By combining both your fitness efforts and your eating habits into one program you will see excellent improvement!
The one promise we are willing to make you is that you will get what you put into it. The harder you work and the better you eat the more results you will see. We are here to help you as much as possible while you pursue the best fitness of your life!
